Blanca Manchón (ESP) and Tom Slingsby (AUS) joined the sailing world's list of highest achievers last night, as they were respectively named female and male recipients of the 2010 ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards.<br /><br />
International sailors, officials and special guests gather every November for the International Sailing Federation's (ISAF) Annual Conference and for the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards. The Awards are recognized as the highest honour a sailor can receive and recognise outstanding achievement during the preceding twelve-month period. This year's ceremony took place last night, 9 November, at the Zappeion in Athens, Greece.<br /><br />
Although there were many exceptional sailors present at the award ceremony, only two of the six male and four female nominees could walk away with the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year title. The winners of this esteemed award for 2010 are Blanca Manchón (ESP) and Tom Slingsby (AUS)."<br /><br />

il refuse pas, il a pas le gabarit qui convient du tout. Il faut faire 80 kg tout mouillé!

malheureusement le seul support reconnu est bien la rsx ...

Faut pas se leurer, y a sans doute moins de pognon dans la rsx, et pour lui ce serait prendre ungros risque, si il ne sort pas avec un podium olympique, boujour la loose... Mais perso je crois que si les jeux se passent sur un spot un peu venté il a ses chances en rsx, quand tu vois qu'il explose tout le monde en formula dans le light...
